"Take Home the Best of the Fair"

This year we are offering you not only a chance to be a Blue Ribbon winner, but an opportunity to sell the item you bring to the fair. You select the items you want to sell, set the price, and if it is sold you collect your check on the exhibit pick up date. A small percentage will be deducted from your price for handling the item plus sales tax.

Since our display items are at the fair for six days, some entries can't participate in this offer, such as baked goods. Other items are regulated by state laws and do not qualify, such as canned vegetables, jellies, and meats. However, items such as art, photos, potted flowers, needle works, and crafts can be a part of this program. All you need to do is look for the italicized classes in these departments.

A special area will be opened to give the people in this area not only a chance to showcase their talents, but it can also provide an economic incentive to stimulate our area's talents.

For more information, contact the Tazewell County Fair Office at (276) 988-7300.
